Position Available: Marine Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Eleele, HI 96705

Kauai Sea Tours, a renowned boat tour company based in the stunning Hawaiian Islands, is seeking a Marine Maintenance Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Eleele. With over 20 years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, and we need your expertise to keep our fleet operating smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform general boat maintenance to ensure vessels are seaworthy daily.
Conduct upkeep of trucks, trailers, and inventory.
Assist with various projects and duties as required within our Operations team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in marine diesel mechanics, outboard motors, and preventive vessel maintenance.
Proficiency in electrical systems, fiberglass fabrication/repairs, and sailboat rigging.
Ability to evaluate and suggest improvements to vessel operations.
Willingness to assist with annual drydock activities.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to follow directions, read schematics, and troubleshoot effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to address mechanical issues on short notice.
Three references from previous employers in relevant fields preferred.
