Job Summary:
Kauai Motorsports is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Parts/Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles (on-road and off-road) and experience with motorcycle parts, accessories, and service. In addition to assisting customers with parts needs, the role will involve writing up Repair Orders, supporting the service department, and contributing to sales goals. As a key member of the team, you’ll assist with parts ordering, inventory management, and ensuring smooth operations for both parts and service functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in finding and ordering the right parts and accessories for their motorcycles (on-road and off-road).
Upsell products and recommend additional items based on customer needs, contributing to overall sales goals.
Provide expert advice on parts selection, installation, and maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction.
Process and manage customer special orders.
Write up Repair Orders accurately, ensuring all service-related parts and requests are documented correctly.
Work closely with the service department to identify and pull parts for repair jobs and scheduled services.
Respond to customer inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, with exceptional service and professionalism.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring stock levels are consistently adequate.
Stay informed about new motorcycle parts, trends, and product developments to provide customers with the latest information.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of motorcycles (on-road and off-road) and related parts is required.
Previous experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry, with a focus on parts and service, is preferred.
Experience in writing Repair Orders and coordinating with service teams is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move parts and accessories as needed.
Basic computer skills for managing inventory and processing orders.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to contribute to the team’s success.
