RevoluSun is looking for a dedicated and motivated Plumbing Apprentice to support the installation and maintenance of solar hot water systems in Honolulu. This is a full-time role for someone eager to learn the trade, grow their skill set, and help drive Hawaii’s clean energy future. You’ll work under the supervision of licensed journeyman plumbers and gain valuable hands-on experience in a growing industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar hot water systems
Learn to work with Sauter solar thermal controls and related equipment
Support job site preparation and cleanup
Help read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
Follow local plumbing codes and safety standards
Collaborate with licensed plumbers, electricians, and installers on residential and commercial projects
Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Some experience or training in plumbing or construction preferred (trade school or on-the-job training)
Willingness to learn soldering/sweating copper is required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
