We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires expertise in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work with power tools, diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems to keep our fleet in top condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Min. High School Diploma

2. Valid Driver’s License

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

Diagnose mechanical issues in heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Utilize power tools effectively for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of equipment components.

Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on various types of heavy machinery.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all equipment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.

Solder connections as needed for electrical repairs or modifications.

Assist in the training of junior mechanics or apprentices as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role is essential.

Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance is required.

Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their components is necessary.

Experience working with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics is highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
