We are an electrical contracting company with some large projects underway, and need an additional electrician to join our team! We are looking for an experienced electrician to assist in completing these projects. The current projects are primarily high-end, custom residential projects in Wailea/Makena (with a large project also in Kula), but as an electrical contracting company, we work on all electrical systems - residential, commercial, etc., and all over the island of Maui.
We are looking for an experienced electrician with at least one or two years of residential experience. A licensed Journeyman Electrician is preferred, but license is not required. It is important that experienced candidates possess a minimum level of electrical knowledge; installation methods of non-metallic sheathed cable (Romex), electrical boxes, recessed can housings, wiring splices, etc., as the projects are in motion and new candidates will be asked to perform tasks right from the start.
Must have own reliable transportation, and must have own electrical tools: Handbags with essential electrical hand tools, drills, etc.
MUST possess a current, valid Driver's License.
MUST be dependable.
The current ongoing projects are custom renovations on large dwellings, and there will be much attic work. Applicant must be able and willing to crawl through attics and tight spaces. Being able to perform work in attic spaces is critical.
Knowledge & experience in Lutron Homeworks equipment highly preferred. Our current projects are full scale residential projects with Lutron Automation Systems.
