Join our dynamic team at Schwager Davis, Inc. (SDI), and help maintain the Kahului Airport tram system at the OGG Airport.
The O&M Technician is responsible for performing and all work activities in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance and repair to the vehicle and wayside, electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, as well as maintenance and upkeep of shop and support equipment. Employee is responsible for implementing techniques that ensure operations and maintenance is conducted safely, reliably, efficiently and in conformance with existing rules and procedures as they pertain to operations and maintenance.
We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting technician with at least 1 year of experience trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Electrical component testing, trouble shooting and repair (12v to 480v).
Hydraulic system trouble shooting and repair.
Assist with completing scheduled maintenance.
Perform extensive, scheduled inspections, on all electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, and maintain
accurate and complete documentation of such activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Allen Bradley control components, PLC control and monitoring preferred.
Must be able to read and decipher electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Professional, pleasant, positive attitude, and a team player.
Extensive background in mechanized equipment function, design, and repair preferred.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and navigate through uneven surfaces.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
This is a full-time position (five 8-hour shifts).
Competitive benefits package with pay rate starting at $28.00 per hour.
