ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage project logistics and assist field team with project implementation

Ensure projects achieve financial goals

Ensure project schedules are met

Conduct job start, job completion and job closeout duties

Complete financial reporting and assist in managing cash flow

Ensure safety of team members and customers

Manage Staff to achieve maximum People Development

Maximize team effectiveness through efficient scheduling, keeping the team focused and delivering the highest quality work

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Previous work experience in a Project Management or similar role

Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects

Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints

Knowledge of industry materials, equipment, and installation methods

Complete and process change orders

Previous work experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, and self-perform work

Highly organized and proven problem-solver

Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills

Able to plan ahead and anticipate future challenges

Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Familiar with construction and project management software programs

Clean driving record

ESTIMATOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.

MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH BIDDING STATE & FEDERAL PROJECTS

Job Type: Full-time - MUST BE HAWAII RESIDENT - No Remote Work.
