At Gaul Granite & Marble, we are currently in search of a talented and experienced Countertop Installer to join our team. As a Countertop Installer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our client's spaces through the meticulous installation of stone countertops. We are seeking an individual with exceptional skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work efficiently.
While our company is located in Kea'au Shipman, Hawai'i, our preference is for candidates residing in Kona, Hawai'i, since most of our projects are concentrated in that area, spanning from Kohala Ranch to Kohanaiki. Nonetheless, we are open to considering applicants living in Hilo or other regions of the Big Island who are willing to commute, as well as those willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install stone countertops, including wall cladding and flooring, with precision and attention to detail.
-Capable of on-site fabrication.
-Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure all details are completed.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
-Assist in resolving any installation-related issues or challenges that may arise.
Qualifications:
-A minimum of 5 years of experience as a countertop installer, specializing in high-end stone materials is required. Preferably, 10+ years of experience.
-Strong knowledge of different countertop materials, including granite, marble, and quartz.
-Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
-Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
-Willingness to relocate, if necessary.
-Must be willing and able to commute to job sites located across the Big Island.
Benefits & Pay:
-Pay range: $35 - $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
