Work Sites range from Hawi, Waimea, Waikoloa, Waikii, to the Kona coast.
White Mountain Builders, a leading residential construction company based in Kamuela, Big Island, Hawaii, is currently seeking a skilled maintenance carpenter with handyman capabilities. If you're experienced in basic concrete work and possess a wide range of handyman skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in various residential construction projects, including new builds and renovations.
-Perform general tasks such as loading and unloading materials, digging, and site cleanup.
-Utilize basic tools to assist in general carpentry and remodeling tasks.
-Execute basic concrete tasks such as pouring, leveling, and finishing under supervision.
-Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
-Proven experience working in home remodeling or building with general handyman skills.
-Proficiency in basic concrete work is highly preferred.
-Possess basic carpentry tools and know how to use a wide variety of hand and power tools effectively.
-Ability to perform general repairs and basic carpentry tasks.
-Strong work ethic and reliability.
-Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance.
-Must have own tools for use at job sites.
-Must have vehicle to get tools to job sites and run errands, and a valid drivers license with current registration and proof of insurance.
Benefits:
-$25-$35/hr., commensurate with experience.
