DC Asphalt Services is seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt Laborer. The ideal candidate will assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of asphalt surfaces, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and transport equipment to job site as needed
Prepare work sites by cleaning and removing debris
Operate various hand and power tools such as rakes, shovels, tampers, and other equipment
Load and unload materials and equipment(Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds)
Work with the team to ensure proper grading, compacting, and finishing
Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
Perform routine checks and maintenance on tools and machinery
Support other crew members and contribute to timely project completion
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor and work in outdoor conditions (heat, noise, dust)
Experience with asphalt or general construction preferred, but not required
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nightshift and/or overtime as needed
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
