Seeking music lovers with outgoing, dynamic personalities to perform weddings and other special events! Though we will consider all applicants, an ideal candidate is energetic and youthful with lots of previous live emcee / performance experience.
Job Qualifications: Reliable, out-going and service-oriented individuals needed. Experience in the entertainment or music industry required. Applicants must be familiar with different styles of music and be comfortable speaking in front of crowds. Well dressed and an excellent sense of style is a big plus. Knowledge of Hawaiian culture, language and music is helpful. Must be available most Saturdays. Other days a plus. Must live on the West side of the Big Island, preferably in Kailua-Kona. Job Description: Music Designer / Coordinator / Emcee will perform wedding receptions and other events, primarily on weekends. Though you would be working as a subcontractor for our company, all equipment and music would be supplied to you to maintain the consistency of our service. Music designer will assist with set-up, perform according to detailed planner, entertain, and represent the company professionally. Some unpaid training is necessary. Applicants should have good knowledge of music, audio equipment, social skills, and good stage presence. Applicants with interest in long-term (at least one year), part-time (mainly weekends) working relationship are desired.
