Kobayashi Sugita & Goda seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide onsite desktop support to end users on a variety of issues such as identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, training for the Firm’s desktop applications, assessing needs, planning and procuring software and hardware for delivery of legal services and management of the law firm, including computer network, internet and database administration, under the direct supervision of the IT Systems Administrator and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Attendance, punctuality and timeliness are essential functions of this position.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Through knowledge of Windows Operating System (Windows 11) and all Microsoft Office Applications
Adobe Acrobat PDF editor (version 2017 and higher)
Working knowledge of Android and Apple smartphone operating systems
Working knowledge of cloud-based file transfer services (Dropbox, ShareFile, OneDrive, Box, etc.)
Working knowledge of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge web browsers
Knowledge of iManage Document Management System and Coyote Analytics
Ideal candidate will possess:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, clarity is very important
Ability to read and follow written instructions from I.T. Administrator and Chief Financial Administrative Officer
Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks in an often-changing environment on short notice
Must respond to requests in a timely manner and know how to prioritize tasks

Working conditions:
The position requires working on the computer for extended periods of time. On rare occasions, the position may require working during weekends and extended hours in order to meet numerous deadlines.
This position works in an office environment with the following characteristics; Air conditioning, except for during evening and weekend hours, fluorescent lighting, and moderate noise levels
