Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering outstanding massage therapy services and creating a tranquil environment for our guests. As a Massage Therapist at Ku Day Spa, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our guests' overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and prenatal massages, in accordance with spa protocols and guest preferences.
Customize massage sessions based on individual guest needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and therapeutic experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment room environment, including setting up and sanitizing equipment and replenishing supplies as needed.
Educate guests on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans and home care routines to enhance their well-being.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service at all times, fostering positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in massage therapy techniques and modalities.
Requirements:
Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a massage therapist, preferably in a spa or wellness setting. If not we are still happy to train you.
Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities, with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen attentively to guest concerns and provide appropriate recommendations.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences.
Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
