We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Associate to represent our brand at Farmers Markets across Oahu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, values local food and products, and is comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers, provide product information, offer samples, and answer questions about ingredients, sourcing, and pricing. Highlight additional retailing like catering or the Food Truck
- Sales Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments using Square or similar POS systems.
- Product Display: Set up and maintain an attractive, clean, and organized booth/table according to brand guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory sold and unsold; restock display items during market hours as needed.
- Setup & Breakdown: Assist with transporting products, setting up tents/tables, and packing up at the end of the market.
- Brand Representation: Act as a positive, knowledgeable representative of our brand.
- Compliance: Follow food safety and hygiene protocols; comply with all market rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior retail, food service, or farmers market experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for several hours outdoors
- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system (training provided)
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
- Availability on weekends (Sundays 6am-1pm)
- Hawaii resident or legally authorized to work in Hawaii
