Ke Nui Kitchen is looking for an onsite sales associates to join our team! We are looking for someone who has aloha spirit, is responsible, a dependable person who can join our Ohana. We are a Local family-owned catering company on the North Shore. You will be located in Waimea Valley which is an area of historic cultural significance on the North Shore of Oahu. The valley, being an important place in Hawaiian religion, includes a majestic waterfall, botanical gardens, several historical structures including stone terraces and walls constructed during the time of the Hawaiian monarchy. Must be located on Oahu and be able to work weekdays and weekends. Probationary period of 90 days with hourly rate. After satisfactory completion of probationary period full-time position will be offered to work directly under the sales manager. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Fielding inquiries
Attending weekly management meetings
Meeting clients onsite to go over catering packages and materials
Building and adjusting proposals
Collecting signed contracts
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Conducting food tastings
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in sales.
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a problem solver and go getter.
Food, beverage, service, hospitality knowledge is a must.
