We are now hiring Concierge Sales Agents who will serve as Ambassadors of Aloha to help others experience our beautiful Island in ways they will never forget. As a Concierge Sales Agent you will be working closely with our guests to book their activities and tours while they are on the Island of Kauai. You may also be booking tours and activities on the neighbor islands for our guest depending on their travel needs.
Please note: New hire onboarding for this position will be remote, additional specific job training will be completed at a hotel concierge desk.
Salary: $20/hr + uncapped earning potential on commission
Status: Casual (20 hours a week or less)
Retention Bonus: Receive an extra $1000 bonus upon reaching 1 year of continuous employment.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in sales and/or customer service (1-3 years, preferred)
-Experience in working within the tourism/hospitality/travel field (highly preferred)
-Exceptional sales and customer service skills (highly preferred)
-Knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands
-Knowledge of the Tours and Activities we have to offer (training provided)
-Ability to grasp customer requirements and cater to individual needs
-Love for interacting with people from different cultures
-Ability to take initiative, work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
-Basic computer literacy (required)
-Experience using a POS system (preferred, training provided)
-Able to speak, read, and write English fluently (required)
-Able to speak, read, and write Japanese fluently (highly preferred)

All promotional travel will be booked based on the lowest economy class fare and schedule/routing available. Employees may request a higher fare (due to fare type, cabin class, or schedule preference), but any requested deviations from the offered flight schedule shall result in the Employee paying any resulting difference in fare.
