Local food manufacturer looking to hire a sales person to merchandise, present, and build lasting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate would have a Great Attitude, Team Player, Dependable, and Committed to serving our many customers with professionalism and integrity. No experience necessary, however, it would be preferred if the applicant has customer service experience in their work history. A valid Hawaii Driver's license and vehicle is required. Work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1-hour break for lunch. Applicant must be able to lift 30 pounds minimum, dress in casual business attire, and be well groomed.
To start, the applicant will have a routine schedule to visit retail stores, learn the products and where they are marketed. Interaction with store and department managers is important to create awareness and customer relations. Once comfortable with retail "Merchandising", the applicant will learn Foodservice (i.e., restaurant, hotel, healthcare, airports, etc.) marketing. Occasional deliveries and pick-up of supplies if needed.
