Compensation is $28.50 per hour - $33.20 per hour with annual raises. 401K available after 90 days.

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (FAA Honolulu Control Facility)
Position: Armed Contract Security Officer
Schedule: Part Time
Shift: Saturdays and Sundays 0500-1300 and 1300-2100
Bi-weekly pay
Paid Initial Training (40 hours) and annual training (20+hours)
Uniform/Equipment provided at no cost

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age and US Citizen
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass an initial background check, drug test, and physical/fit for duty exam
Valid American Red Cross/American Heart Association AED, First Aid and CPR Certification
Hawaii State Guard Card
Input and retrieve data using a computerized security system and read, understand, and apply printed instructions, rules, detailed orders, and training materials.
Speaks English fluently.
Reads and understands written English in reports, orders, guidelines, and instructions.
Writes official reports in English that are grammatically correct and technically accurate.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
All Security Officers assigned to FAA facilities must meet one (1) or more of the following requirements for experience:
1.Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years OR
2.Associate Degree in a related field plus one (1) year of experience OR
3.Three (3) years of military experience (active, reserve or National Guard either be currently serving or have been honorably discharged) OR
4.Successful completion of a State certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST)certification course OR
5.Possess a reasonable combination of one (1) through three (3)
