Tech Partners Hawaii is a growing, Hawaiian-owned IT managed services firm serving small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Hawaiian Islands. We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Helpdesk and Field Technician to join our team on Maui.

This position offers a mix of remote helpdesk work and onsite field support. You'll be based out of our Kahului office and visit client locations across the island. A company car is provided during business hours to get to and from client’s locations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver first-class technical support via phone, email, remote access, and onsite visits

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and systems

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, networking gear, VoIP phones, printers, and other peripherals

Manage Microsoft Office 365 environments

Administer network devices including firewalls, switches, and wireless systems from vendors such as pfSense, Meraki, Fortinet, Unifi, and others

Assist with low-voltage cabling tasks, including basic conduit installation and network cable terminations

Document procedures, configurations, and ticket resolutions in our ticketing system

Collaborate with other technicians, systems administrators, and engineers

Participate in a rotating on-call shift every 5-6 weeks

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Solid experience with Windows operating systems

Good understanding of networking and server technologies

Experience with Office 365

Valid Hawaii driver's license and personal vehicle (company vehicle provided during work hours)

Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel interisland if needed

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment

Familiarity with the ConnectWise suite of applications, or similar platforms

Experience with electrical or low-voltage wiring including running conduit and network cable terminations

Competitive salary: $50,000 – $60,000 annually

10% annual performance bonus, paid quarterly
