OVERVIEW:
Small locally-owned telecommunications contractor looking for the right candidate to train. Training period is part-time with potential to become full-time in 1-2 months.
DESCRIPTION:
Cable technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial cable infrastructure for internet services. Job duties for cable technicians include creating cable pathways, pulling of cable, inspecting cable lines, laying ground cable, and termination and testing of Cat5e, Cat6 and RJ45. Involves ladder work in commercial spaces. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have reliable transportation, integrity, and strong communication skills. Flexible schedule is preferred.
