KoaWood Ranch is a retail company rooted in Koa forestry conservation as its mission. We have a store location at the International Market Place in Waikiki and at the Ala Moana Center. We are hiring for both locations.
Our product assortment includes Koa wood items and Hawaii-inspired gifts and souvenirs including home decor, t-shirts, jewelry, watches, and more.
We are looking for Part-Time Selling Professionals who share a passion for Hawaii, art, and all things symbolic of our island lifestyle. Our Selling Professionals will have the opportunity to shape the client experience by providing exceptional service, education, and exemplifying care to every guest.

Responsibilities
Connect and build rapport with customers, have fun and provide a positive and professional shopping experience.
Be perceptive to customer wants and needs and provide the client with product knowledge of the merchandise offered for sale.
Use your product knowledge to create selling techniques to sell merchandise.
Be in the know of merchandise in stock, and current promotions. Promptly follow up on all special orders and special service requests.
Be willing to build professional relationships with clients and serve as a personal shopper.
Professionally handle difficult customer situations and immediately involve or notify management.
Help ensure the store meets sales goals.
Operations
Be observant and provide product feedback to help ensure the best product assortment possible.
Take pride in how the store looks and ensure it is straightened throughout the day. If need be fill in merchandise and be aware of stock levels. Maintain displays and visual presentation as per guidelines.
Be tech-savvy and comfortable operating a register system. Proficiency in mobile technology and social media is a PLUS!
Be neat, organized, and willing to help out with housekeeping and maintenance.
Loss Prevention
Be alert and watch for potential shortages.
Be willing to abide by company policies.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Be able to have fun, laugh, don’t take anything personally, and get along with others.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Experience in retail or hospitality.
Must possess legal work authorization in the United States

At KoaWood Ranch our primary aim is to stop the degradation of the Koa forest and restore the ecosystem back to its former health. Proceeds from our retail store are directly applied to our reforestation activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
