Helen Mitsui Shared Blessings is a thrift shop in Kilauea, staffed primarily by Team Members (volunteer and paid), and led by a steering committee of Team Leaders.
We are currently recruiting Volunteer Team Members. From our loyal volunteer pool, we extend paid positions to part-time Team Members for 8-19 hours per week, who can then be considered for Team Leaders. Shifts are available during business and non-business hours in the following areas:
Donation Intake
Helping Customers
Community Outreach
Preparing Merchandise
Restocking Shop
Our mission is to provide our community with exceptionally priced, quality merchandise. We are committed to caring for our island home by reusing, repurposing and passing along goods to other non-profits like Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, YWCA, and more — and keeping as much as possible out of landfill. Merchandise and proceeds from donations and sales benefit Kauai community, Hawaii non-profits and global humanitarian efforts.
