In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the perfect pieces of fine jewelry. You will leverage your expertise in retail sales and product knowledge to create a welcoming shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in their jewelry selection process.
Utilize retail math skills to provide accurate pricing and product information.
Demonstrate products effectively through engaging product demos.
Upsell complementary items to enhance the customer's purchase experience.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively.
Be able to work independently on a daily basis.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
Stay informed about current trends in fine jewelry to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a jewelry or luxury goods environment but nor necessary.
Strong understanding of retail math and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
Proven ability to upsell products and engage customers through effective communication.
Familiarity with supervising staff or mentoring new employees is a plus.
A background in grocery store sales can be beneficial, showcasing versatility in customer service skills.
