The position is for Convenience Store Sales Associate

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar setting, a bright disposition, and excellent interpersonal skills. Customer service is KEY. We are here to serve and educate customers. It is important that we hire individuals that like to talk to people and who are willing to create relations. Attention to detail is also very important.

Assistant Manager position also available

The Assistant Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including assisting in scheduling, training, supervising employees, and reporting to the manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for keeping up to date on the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent

Cashiering: 1 year (Minimum)

Managerial experience: 1 year (preferred)

Able to lift 50lbs

Able to work weekends

MUST BE 21 AND OVER

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers

Learn and provide accurate product information (e.g. types of drinks, food products, etc)

Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services

Cross-sell products

Ensure racks are fully stocked and presentable

Resolve customer complaints

Inform customers about discounts and special offers

Provide enthusiastic and effective customer service to promote return business

Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Ensure shop stays clean and tidy (open/close cleaning duties)

Prepping and cooking of basic food items

Skills

Work experience as a retail cashier or a similar role in sales

Basic PC knowledge

Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS

Good math skills

Strong communication and time management skills

Customer satisfaction-oriented

Flexibility to work various shifts
