We are looking for an energetic, focused, and organized individual to assist the Sales Team and President in various administrative tasks. The environment is fast-paced and requires an individual who is able to work closely with all departments, as well as the sales team. Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Answering phones and taking/entering sales orders into the computer system
Entering recurring sales orders into the system
Systematically distributing promotion material through various media
Generating and distributing sales reports
Updating product prices in the accounting software
Providing product information/prices to customers through various media
Reviewing inventory levels
Purchasing gourmet seafood items
Tasting and sampling gourmet seafood items
Assisting president and sales team
Monitoring follow-up tasks and projects assigned to the sales team
Attendance and participation in various weekly meetings
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Required skills:
Strong communication skills
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Able to learn accounting and contact management software programs
Positive attitude
