Our Interior Company is looking to hire ASAP! This is a Administrative position that works with our shipping department. This position leads to management.
We are urgently seeking a personable, efficient individual who will provide full-time operations administrative support.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Coordinating information flow between sales-admin-ops-customer
Working in client computer systems and programs
o Maintaining and updating databases
o Ordering punch list parts
o Tracking parts
Tracking project activities and progress
Liaising with internal and external contacts
Maintaining good client and customer relations
Responsible for other administrative duties as assigned
Consolidate orders on the west coast and prepare the orders for shipping with our freight forwarders
o this demands that he/she needs to stay on top of everything - the schedule of the sailings, the orders coming in, the timing that customers want and can accept deliveries
Schedule installations based on:
o Lead availability
o Projects on hand/in pipeline
o Base access
Site visits (not that often)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional customer service skills
Organizational skills & detail – oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Knowledge of general office equipment
Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Work in the A/E or Construction industry is preferred
Basic math: Fractions, percentage, and decimal
Flexible and able to adapt to constant change
Requirements, Education, and Experience:
Required: High school diploma or GED
Required: Personal vehicle with appropriate State of Hawaii requirements
Required: Clear background check for military base access
Required: Current drivers license with good driving record
