Ground Transport Inc is a locally owned School Bus Transportation Company that has been operating in Hawaii for 35 years. We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Payroll Clerk that will work out of our Kapolei Offices.
Key duties and responsibilities
Collecting and verifying timekeeping information, such as timesheets and call-in worksheets/logs.
Calculating wages, including regular hours, overtime, Etc.
Processing payroll via ADP Payroll System.
Maintaining and updating employee payroll records.
Addressing and resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
Preparing and updating payroll call-in logs and worksheets.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and government payroll regulations.
Other related HR duties as required by the company.

Attention to detail and accuracy: Crucial for processing payroll information correctly and minimizing errors.
Organizational skills: Important for managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining organized records.
Computer skills: Including proficiency in spreadsheets (like Microsoft Excel), and the ability to learn and use payroll software.
Knowledge of payroll regulations: Understanding and staying updated with payroll regulations and procedures.
Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.
