General Construction Company located in Kahului seeking a qualified and experienced applicant for administrative assistant position.
The job description includes general office duties, knowledge of office equipment, computers and office protocols. Must be experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. You will work closely with the Office Manager and be part of the administrative team that supports our customers, the General Contractor, employees in the field, and subcontractors working projects in progress.
Other tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Filing, bidding, and handling administrative duties
Ordering equipment and supplies
Paperwork and documentation for projects
Coordinating schedules and communication with customers and contractors for ongoing construction jobs
Ordering supplies, equipment, working closely with employees in the field
Communication with county, state and local offices, and filing all necessary paperwork for permits, compliance with safety regulations, etc.
Attention to detail a must
Excellent communication skills, in person and on the phone
Experience can vary as well as salary requirements
Part or full time is negotiable
