I will provide equipment and training for the right candidates. I am looking for 2-3 people to shoot surf photos at the Cove in Kihei a couple days a week. MUST be available Saturdays. We shoot Monday-Saturday typically 7:45am-1pm (sometime until 2/3pm if there are afternoon surf classes). Must be willing to work over holiday breaks such as winter/spring break as those are our busiest times. You will get Holidays off.
This is IN WATER photography so you must be able and willing to be in sun and small surf. It is shallow enough to stand the entire time.
Our photographers will be photographing families taking surf lessons through our surf school. Every class gets photographed and then our photographers present and sell the photos in the surf building afterwards. This is an hourly base pay with incentives and opportunities for tips. This is a great side hustle for those that have evening jobs here on Maui but crave being in the ocean and taking photos. This is a great for those wanting to make a little extra money a couple days a week.
Our high season is June-August and then things slow down until December. This is an “as needed” basis but these coming months and December we need very realizable/dependent workers that will show up for their scheduled shifts.
