We are a thriving litigation firm located on the beautiful island of Maui, seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sense of personal integrity, a commitment to justice, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the legal field. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced attorneys on a variety of cases, including personal injury, landlord-tenant disputes, contract disputes, and other litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

1. Litigation Support: all aspects of litigation: develop and analyze facts and

damages, draft memos, correspondence and legal documents, conduct legal

research, and prepare for depositions, hearings and trials.

2. Client Interaction: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients,

while gathering necessary information for cases.

3. Appearances: Attend court appearances, depositions, and other legal

proceedings under the guidance of senior attorneys.

4. Case Management: Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents

are up-to-date and readily accessible.

5. Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant issues and assist in the

preparation of legal arguments and strategies.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with the legal team to strategize and contribute

to the development of case theories.

7. Opportunities for Growth: Take advantage of extensive opportunities for

hands-on experience in personal injury litigation, landlord-tenant cases,

contract disputes, and other areas of litigation.

Requirements:

1. Passion for Justice: Strong commitment to justice and a desire to advocate

for plaintiffs in personal injury cases.

2. Personal Integrity: Demonstrated ethical behavior and personal integrity in

all professional interactions.

3. Empathy: Ability to connect with clients and understand the emotional and

personal aspects of their cases.

4. Hardworking: Willingness to put in the effort required to pursue favorable

outcomes on behalf of clients.

5. Analytic Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and

address legal issues.

6. Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using legal software and proficient in

Microsoft Office applications.

7. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize

multiple tasks efficiently.

8. Relocation: Must be willing to relocate and live on the island of Maui.
