We currently have positions available for Building and Pool Maintenance Technicians, responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance repairs to building, pool equipment, public areas and administrative offices. Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs.
Job Duties:
Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical aspects of the Resort, including buildings, public and recreational areas, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment.
Perform facility maintenance and repairs as directed. Completes assignments and documents problem resolution, reporting to the Chief Engineer/AGM.
Implement preventive maintenance procedures.
Maintains appropriate supply of materials and equipment to carry out the normal day-to-day operating and maintenance requirements of the Resort.
Applicant requirements:
Knowledge of building trades; electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and general building practices.
Strong communications and problem-solving skills; works well within a team environment.
Education, Training and Experience:
Experience in a condominium project, resort or hotel or other commercial environment preferred.
Some college or vocational training or experience in general building maintenance /and/or/ construction and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pool Certification (CPO) preferred for Pool Maintenance Technician.

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
