Position: Part-Time Maintenance and Housekeeping
Compensation: $17/hour
Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays 6:30am - 12:30pm (1/2hr lunch) and one weekday of your choice 6:30am-2:30pm (1/2hr lunch) + all Holidays
Benefits:
Sick pay: accumulated at 1hr/pay period

Requirements:
Basic knowledge of landscaping equipment.
Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical strongly preferred but not required.
Able to lift 50+ pounds
Drug Test Required
Background check required
Able to work alone with little to no supervision or instruction
Available to work on all Holidays
We are looking for a Part-time maintenance and housekeeper for a small condominium located in Makaha, Wai'anae. Employee must have the motivation and integrity to work on their own with little to no instruction. Your job will be to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the property and it's common areas, which includes maintenance of the pool, landscaping, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the building such as changing lights, exit signs, painting, and other tasks as needed.
Basic duties include, but are not limited to:
Morning unlocking assignments to open the property that must be accomplished in a timely manner.
Daily pool maintenance: Scrubbing and cleaning the pool as necessary, daily check of the pool chemical levels and properly recording numbers on a log sheet, adding chemicals to the pool as necessary, starting and removing pool vacuum in a timely manner (Pool maintenance can be taught, previous knowledge is not required)
Using the Waste Caddy Machine to transport dumpsters from the basement and basement trash chute room to street level for dumpster pick up every Tuesday and Friday.
Landscaping: Using a lawn mower and weed whacker to maintain property lawn once weekly (three areas: front, back and side lawn). "Edging" grass along ground floor patios for a clean look.
Trimming low standing palm trees (taller palm trees are maintenanced by a professional tree trimming company)
Maintaining the cleanliness of our hallways, walkways, and stairwells.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the bathroom, office, and laundry room.
Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the property and landscaping.
Other maintenance and cleaning duties called upon by the Office Manager or Board Members, such as changing lightbulbs in the parking lot, hallways and on the roof. Installing signs around property, breaking down items to fit in the dumpster, painting, etc.
