Organic Lifestyle?

Interested in organic, no dig farming and working outside? We are a small organic farm in Kula that has a part time position available. We are flexible on days and hours, but the maximum hours worked would between be 12 to 16 per week. The days and hours are flexible. Some experience or similar experience is preferred. As farm work can be a physically demanding activity at times, applicants that enjoy a physical lifestyle and participate in physical activities on a regular basis would be the best fit for the position. Work typically includes seed starting, planting, fertilizing plants, mulching, weeding, spreading and moving wood chips, watering plants, harvesting/cleaning fruit and produce, cleaning and maintaining plants and general cleanup over all, removing old plants, caring for farm animals (at times), light mowing, light weed whacking (we have a landscaper, so this is rarely a part of the work), pulling fire weed, pulling glycine, irrigation repair or install, fence repair and/or install or even at times light construction (helper only for these last three items, experience not required). An Ohana attitude, respect for the land and strong work ethic is/are required. Sorry no smoking, drinking or drugs of any kind allowed.
