Maintenance Worker/Carpenter (Location: Kaneohe)
Responsibilities
-Assist in assessing/inspecting buildings for repairs
-Perform repairs to buildings and/or common areas. General carpentry and minor electrical. Including framing, siding, trim, gutter installation and ground lighting.
-Minor roofing, such as flashing replacement/repair. Shingle inspection.
-Minor exterior plumbing.
-Painting. Ranging from light touch ups to entire building exteriors.
-Power washing.
-Ground maintenance activities such as maintaining dumpster areas and overall cleanliness of the property.
-Complete work orders in a timely manner.
-The ability to work in all weather conditions.
-Following established safety rules and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
-Report house & ground rule violations to the Site Manager.
-Report homeowner or resident requests or concerns to the Site Manager.
Education, Experience, Certifications
-High School Diploma or GED
-Valid Driver’s License
-Knowledge of workplace safety and operation and maintenance of basic hand and power tools.
Necessary Skills & Physical Demands
-Firm understanding of carpentry, basic masonry, plumbing and electrical.
-Must have the ability to continuously climb up and down ladders without fear of heights.
-Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Scheduling & Compensation
-Full Time. M – F, 7:30am – 4:00pm
-Includes health benefits, paid vacation, holidays and sick time based on accrued time.
-$20.00/hr. (paid bi-weekly) starting pay based on experience.
-Must pass background check and drug test.
