Provides landscape maintenance and servicing to a team that has multiple crews of landscape gardeners, irrigators, chemical applicators and mowing teams. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the team and tasks performed in groups
Able to load/unload trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all trailers, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives.
Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, occasionally fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care duties as necessary to help crews under the supervision of the Crew Leader.
Move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areas.
Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and an ability to learn to identify insect pests and weeds.
Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, push lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, tillers.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work.
Communicate with members and guests in a polite and courteous manner.
Able to multi-task and have good time management skills.
Pull weeds, and prune as needed
Performs general golf maintenance practices
Assists in minor construction projects
Maintains and cleans shop, lunchroom, maintenance restrooms, hand tools and equipment
Current, valid driver license preferred
Willing to train
