We are looking for a motivated, responsible and resourceful person with a passion for helping others.
PMP's conducts site inspections &/or treat properties for targeted pests.
They also communicate with homeowners, office staff and field personnel on steps to take to ensure targeted pests are under control.
Each PMP is assigned a vehicle. Maintenance & safe keeping of the vehicle is the responsibility of the PMP.
Correcting termite/pest control problems by applying product, baiting, monitoring and communicating with the customer, office & field personnel.
Must have a genuine desire to learn insect & pest biology, exclusion methods and techniques to maintain control of pests on a customer’s site.
Each PMP must also be knowledgeable in learning how to get around the island. This individual will need to know/learn how to navigate a road map. Then find the correct house/business.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or G.E.D
Good Communication Skills
A genuine desire to learn the pest control business.
Pass a respirator fitness test
Clean Driver's Abstract
Working conditions
Special working conditions: Outdoor work, Work safely with chemicals. Must be able to use a respirator.
Physical requirements
A physically demanding job: PMP’s inspect &/or treat 10-20 houses/structures per day. Doing various tasks. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
