Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance worker to join our team. As one of the top vacation rental companies on the island, we are seeking an induvial with the skills to help keep our properties in top condition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overseeing the general upkeep of our rental units.
Duties:
-Drive to multiple locations throughout Oahu to respond to scheduled or guest reported issues
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects with external contractors
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Troubleshoot and repair multiple plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Maintain and service HVAC equipment
- Perform both scheduled and guest reported repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and maintain proper documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of experience in Residential, Hotel or other related maintenance
- Strong guest service skills for interacting with guests and co-workers
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking
- Reliable transportation to respond to work orders throughout the island
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently to complete multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills to relay ongoing issues with department manager
- HVAC skills are a plus
