Egg Picker – Waianae Area
Want a job closer to the west side? Avoid traffic and obtain a position in the Waianae area!
Schedule: 6 days per week with one day off from 7:00am-4:00pm
Payrate: $14/hr.
Job Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Wear an egg carrier with a stack of egg trays
- Walk an assigned row of birds and pick eggs 2 in each hand and place in egg tray
- When the egg tray is full, it is placed above the cages
- When 6 trays are completed, go back, gather those 6 trays and stack on egg trucks
- Work as a team with other egg pickers
- Help with other Farm projects as needed
- Schedule includes weekends
Essential Functions:
-Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.
-Must be ok with working on the weekends
-Must be ok with working on a farm with live chickens
-Must be ok with working through the smells of waste from live chickens
