Beach Attendant jobs require candidates to:
Supply beach chairs for hotel guests
Maintain and organize beach chairs on hotel property
Prepare and deliver beach equipment for activities requested by hotel guests
Provide information regarding hotel services and activities
Ideal candidates for these Beach Attendant position must:
Provide excellent and friendly customer service to visitors and patrons
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Enjoy doing physical labor and working outdoors
Ability to work weekends and holidays
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring safety for employees and customers, customer care, public relations, repairing equipment, maintaining facility, working holidays, explaining instructions for water equipment, setting up rental equipment in a timely manner, and water assistances/rescues.
REQUIREMENTS: Team player, working in the hot sun, capable of pulling or lifting 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8 hour work day, must know how to swim, familiar with the ocean and ocean equipment(surfboards, standups, boogie boards, snorkel gear and fun islands). You must be able to set up and break down umbrellas and lounges. You must be able to communicate well with customers. Available to work holidays, weekends, overtime and flexible schedule.
