Job Purpose

The People Operations (POps) Intern will support LT’s People Operations department’s daily activities while gaining active, hands-on experience in the various disciplines within Human Resources: compliance, benefits, recruitment, etc. As part of LT’s summer internship program, the POps intern will be part of a cohort from various parts of our organization and will have the opportunity to network and learn more about LT’s programs, functions, and contributions to the community.

Essential Responsibilities

Filing keep up to date with all the filing for our Personnel files.

I-9 Audit- audit our I-9 binders and organize it.

Virtual Files- This project will involve helping us transform our personnel files to digital files system. Duties include, cleaning up personnel files, scanning them and organizing our digital file system.

Respectful Workplace Attestation Forms- This is a project that involves tracking the forms, follow up with employees that didn’t sign form or take the course and then print forms for their files.

SharePoint- help with updating our POps SharePoint page with assisting to make our page more aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Wellness Program- assist with coordinating events, posting on SharePoint and writing articles for our organization.

Other

Contributes to the Trust’s success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team and organization results.

Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent professional experience.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications

Excellent administrative and organization skills.

Detailed Oriented

Strong problem-solving skills
