Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 /year
Social Services Manager Duties:
Lead and mentor a team of Social Services Assistants
Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing residents’ emotional and social needs
Provide direct counseling and case management to residents and families
Advocate for residents’ rights and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic care
Coordinate discharge planning and community resource referrals
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and external agencies
Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for residents and families
Social Services Manager Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Active Hawaii State Social Work License
Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
Supervisory experience a plus
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
