North Hawaii Hospice is seeking a full-time (4 days per week) Registered Nurse for the Kohala, Waikoloa, Waimea, Hamakua and Laupahoehoe area to work with hospice and palliative care patients. As a member of our team, employees will be trained in palliative care and symptom management. The position requires the following:
-current Hawaii RN license
-experience in hospice or home health
-ability to collaborate with physicians for coordination of care
-ability to provide patient education and counseling
-ability to provide hospice informational visits and complete hospice admissions
-valid driver's license
-reliable transportation with insurance coverage
-competent computer skills to input time sheet and patient charting.
