Job Summary:
Po'ailani, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse, Full-Time preferred, in a pleasant community setting with flexible hours.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associates Degree
Applicants must have a Registered Nurse License
Nursing experience preferred including psychiatric experience. Willing to train.
Must pass criminal background check
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Services provided by the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to the following:
Working with individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders in a Licensed Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment program.
Assessing patients medical and psychiatric needs.
Referring to community providers as needed.
Following up with community providers recommendations.
Leading a weekly medication management group.
Working closely with para-professional staff to monitor patients’ medications.
Excellent computer skills a must, in addition to having experience with Word and Excel programs.
Other duties as necessary.
On-going training is provided.
