Job Summary:
Po'ailani, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Assistant, with flexible hours in a pleasant community setting.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma
Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Willing to train.
Must pass criminal background check
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Services provided by the Nursing Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
Working with the population of individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse disorders in a Licensed Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment program.
Assisting the Registered Nurse in assessing patients’ medical and psychiatric needs.
Assisting the Registered Nurse in referrals to community Providers as needed.
Following up with obtaining community Provider's documentation.
Competent person to assist Registered Nurse with appointments, follow ups and medication ordering.
Assisting the Registered Nurse with storage, reordering and management of medications monitored for patients onsite.
Competent computer skills a must in addition to having experience with Word and Excel programs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are needed as this position requires working collaboratively with the program Registered Nurse.
Other duties as necessary.
On-going training is provided.
