Growing private pediatric practice, looking for a friendly, hard-working medical assistant.
Requirements:
Completion of (or in process to complete) medical assistant program preferred.
Hepatitis B and COVID vaccinated
Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Able to work Monday-Saturday, full-time preferred
Assist with both front and back office tasks
Schedule appointments, patient registration, review billing and claims information, collecting payments
Prepare patients for examination by physicians, including obtaining vital signs and performing screening tests
Administer immunizations, and order and maintain vaccine inventory
Assist physicians with minor office procedures
Timely and accurately complete documentation of patient records in office’s EMR
Assist with coordination of care with specialists, completion of medical forms and prior authorization forms
Maintain medical supply inventory and perform preventative maintenance to keep medical equipment operating. Prepare exam rooms.
