Primarily Looking for live-in light duty care giver to assist my mom who has dementia. Duties during weekdays: (same as AM &PM noted below in drop in Assistance). My main concern is assisting her for AM MEO bus trip to daycare and assist her for MEO pm drop off to home.
-making sure she gets on MEO bus twice a day (AM pick up & PM drop off) (pick up time may be arranged based on your preference, also when she gets dropped off (latest departure from daycare would be 5-5:30pm). Her AM pick up is currently scheduled for 7:20-7:50 pick up (can be changed to fit your needs).
She attends Adult daycare Monday-Friday, home on weekends.
Drop in assistance:
If your only availability would only be for am or pm option, that could work too. Each stop in would probably be about 1 hr.
AM visit would be possibly getting her up, making/giving small simple breakfast and giving medication, could also do meal prep for evening or light cleaning duties etc. until MEO picks her up.
PM visit would be for you to assist her getting off MEO bus when they arrive, making/prepping dinner meal.
She is 100% mobile and does things on her own. Showers are being done at Daycare.
She does not cook/use a microwave, etc. I could help out with meal preps such as sandwiches, fruits, etc. Readily made foods could work too, yogurt, cereal, etc. Something simple, she is simple.
Should you be interested in the live-in option, rent would be the exchange for caregiving which would be just am/pm assistance, weekends she likes to rest or I take her around doing errands etc but she’s generally tired from the week at daycare. The days that my mom is at daycare could also be days that you would have free if u have a full or par time job.
