Perform general laundry tasks such as wash, dry, sort, fold and mend, as necessary, clothes and linen in accordance with various requirements. Operate related equipment in institutional laundry operation in safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulation.
Perform related work such as directs, trains, and evaluate workers; assists supervisor in setting up work, delivery and pick up schedules; monitors and regulates work flow; maintains records and prepares simple reports regarding day to day operation; request supply as needed and conduct inventory. Perform custodial work as required. May perform driving as necessary.
Previous commercial or general laundry experience preferred.
