We are seeking a hard-working medical assistant to join our three-physician nephrology practice. Office is busy but providers are caring and easy going. Ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, effective communication and compassionate approach to patient care. We serve a diverse patient population so bilingual is a plus but not required. Office hour is 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with one hour lunch break. 401K plan is available after one year of employment.
Responsibilities: (will train)
Registering and checking in patients in EPIC system.
Checking out and scheduling follow up appointments in EPIC.
Arranging lab tests, radiologic studies and outbound referral.
Processing prior authorization.
