We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide assistance and support for a individuals in need of daily care. This is for an Adult Residential Care Home with 4 ambulatory residents and 1 wheel-chair bound (able to assist with transfers and bed mobility) resident with 2 caregivers assigned to 5 residents.
Compensation:
- $14-18/hr (depending on experience)
- Flexible schedule (full-time, part-time, call-in)
- Referral and Performance Bonuses
- Reimbursements for Certifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany client to appointments and errands
- Assist with mobility and daily exercises
- Charting as per State of Hawaii Regulations (You will be trained)
Requirements:
- Patience, kindness, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift (50 lbs max) and assist with mobility if needed
- Must pass background check
- Basic Life Support and First Aid Certifications
- Yearly Physical and TB Clearance furnished by your Physician
- Certification (CNA or similar) is a plus but not required, you are going to be trained
- Driving is a plus but not required
