Must have reliable transportation.
I use self-direct care through Ohana Healthcare.
My available shifts include:
Wednesday/Saturday 7:30 AM- 12:30 PM
MON-THUR 7:30-10:30 PM
ABOUT ME:
I’m a writer, dancer and filmmaker.
I’m also a C6 quadriplegic, so I don’t have function or sensation from the chest down and I don’t have hand function. But I’m pretty independent once I’m up and rollin’
JOB DUTIES:
My cares consist of range of motion/stretching, dressing, toileting, bathing, cooking, cleaning.
I have a sweet little wiener dog named Smokey, so I need help walking and feeding him.
LOOKING FOR:
someone kind, efficient, smart, reliable and honest. This is the type of job where I really need someone who I can rely on and trust. I truly believe care work is a holistic thing and that this is a relationship, not just a transaction. It’s important to me that my caregivers feel valued and respected and that I feel the same. I do live with one of my caregivers, but she needs her time off too:) We all work as a team.
